Stairway Garden Parade

An annual tradition, house plants get a rare occasion to leave their usual spots, as they line up by the side of the stairs for one night in a celebratory parade. The best cultivated contingent gets to leave their floor completely, marching down the guard of honour formed up by other plants throughout the building to take up their spot at the coveted ground floor.

The parade takes place after dark, in secret, away from human sight; only observable by the surrounding trees, bushes, and grass. What are they celebrating exactly? No one really knows.
